Crunchy potato fries

Materials

2 potatoes

0.5 cup milk, of butter milk

0.5 cup all purpose flour

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

3 cup salad oil

 

Cooking

·         Peel skin of potatoes. Cut potatoes to wedges of about 2 inch long and half inch thick. Boil potatoes in water until a skewer penetrates easily.  Remove water from the surfaces of potatoes using a colander. Wet the potato wedges by milk or butter milk.

·          Mix flour, salt, pepper, paprika and garlic in a bowl. Transfer the potatoes into this bowl, and coat with the flour by shaking or mixing.

·         Fry in the oil of 350F until brown.

·          (Alternative approach:  Potatoes may be baked in oven. Coat the surface of a baking bat with butter. Put all the potato wedges on the bat in one layer. Drizzle the potato wedges with the salad oil.  Bake in the oven at 350F for 30 minutes or well browned.)
